Zenia is now Ally with Paul and Lori in Canada.
"Hi Mary Ann
Just to let you know that Ally is such a wonderful little girl, and we couldn’t have asked for a better puppy.
She’s doing great with all the training, and is getting bigger and better everyday. Our family adores her, and she loves having all the attention from everyone.
She has also adjusted very easily to our home and we are just so proud of her.
Thank you so much for this beautiful addition to our family and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Our little Shealah was so tuckered out last night :) She of course slept with me last night, and hasn't had an accident yet (cross fingers).
You really can't see from these pics, I am trying to get others, but she has about 4 Heart shaped spots on her. Hmmmmm 4 hearts for the four of us so sad about our Chelsea girl. Just like she was sent to us by our little girl. Thank you so much for this precious little girl. Stacey
HI MARY ANN, JUST A LITTLE NOTE TO TELL YOU THAT SHEYENNE IS DOING GREAT. SHE WENT YESTERDAY FOR HER FIRST VISIT WITH THE NEW VET. BILL TOOK HER AND IT ALL WENT WELL. HER WT IS 3 LBS EVEN. THE VET SAID SHE WAS A HEALTHY, HAPPY PUPPY. HE GAVE HER A SHOT AND CHECKED HER ALL OVER. SHE IS TO GO BACK IN THREE WEEKS FOR HER LAST SHOT. HE STARTED HER ON HEARTGUARD ALSO. SHE IS DOING GOOD WITH HER PUPPY PAD, OF COURSE WE STILL HAVE SOME MESS UPS BUT, SHE IS JUST A BABY. HOPE EVERYTHING IS GIONG GOOD FOR YOU AND YOURS. WE LOVE OUR PUPPY SO MUCH. SANNA AND HAILEE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello, Just a little note to tell you that little Annie is doing just fine. She has been back to the vet about two weeks ago, she weighed 4lbs 4 oz. She is our baby, Bill spends most of the time with her because he is at home. She is very friendly with everyone. We have her playing fetch. We will tell her to go get her pig and away she goes to find it. She got a pink Easter bunny, a snow man and a stuffed monkey for Easter. Her hair is growing a lot, we brush her often. She sheds some but, I figure that is her baby hair comming out. Hope you and your family had a Happy Easter, With love and appreciation, Sanna Spears
P.S. Will try and send you some pictures when Hailee comes with her digital camera.
Tulip goes to Pennsylvania.
Good morning Maryann. I just wanted to let you know that Tulip arrived safe & sound at 3am. We drove down to NJ to get her. The people that you hired to transport her were very sweet.
Tulip is such a joy! She has been running & playing with my other dogs & cats since we came home. She is so funny & adorable!!!
Again, thank you so much for everything! I will keep in touch. God bless. Penny ~~~~~~~~~ Well, it's the end of the first day with Tulip & I cannot say enough how wonderful she is. You have done such a great job with her!!!
It was a sleepless night - but very worth it. We drove almost an hour to get her, but again, it was very worth it. She was so cute when we picked her up - she just snuggled into my arms and fell asleep. Then, when the sun started coming up - she just got so excited & happy & started playing. She didn't stop for most of the day.
I'm glad that you liked the website. We do love animals here & our customers are big animal lovers also. If you want, I can put a link on my website to your website, like I did for Max's breeder. Of course I don't mind if you put pictures of Tulip up on your website. I have the cutest picture of Max, Mini, & Tulip with their stars & strips bandana's on. :) I hope you had a wonderful party. Someone should make one of those self cleaning houses. ~~ (Amen!) God bless, Penny Dear Mary Ann - I am finally getting some time to sit down at my computer & send you a quick note. Tulip is such a funny little girl. She is getting along so well here. She loves to tease Mini & Max. It's so funny when we play fetch - Mini & Max try running for the toy & Tulip grabs one of their ears and trys to hold them back. She makes us laugh every day. My mom is very ill & in a nursing home. She just turned 80 on July 14th & we took the dogs with us for the big celebration. Tulip was the hit of the party & she was so wonderful with the elderly people. She was so loveable with my mom, kissing her face & nuzzling her neck. I'm attaching a couple of pictures. I had thought that I got some really good pictures of the nursing home residents with Tulip, but they all came out blurry. I'll have to ask around to see if anyone else got some pictures. One picture is of Daisy (my daughter) at the nursing home, and the other is her stretched out on our bedroom floor. She's such a cutie. Hope all is well there. God bless, Penny
Jessica and Nala
Jessica came here right before Christmas to pick up little Olinda. She named her Nala before she ever got here, so we have been calling her Nala - to get her used to her new name. We enjoyed our time with Jessica very much. She helped us make some wonderful Christmas cookies, and did great with the frosting. We also went singing Christmas carols, and Jessica went along too. I can see why her parents miss having her at home. She has been away to college in Florida, just graduated, and will be returning there to work. Jessica has sent some wonderful family pictures, you will enjoy them all. "Hi Mary Ann, Nala has been doing great, she's growing like a little weed and her personality has definitely come out of the box. I think she's fallen for my Dad haha, she just follows him around the house all day and stares at the door when he walks out. She loves to chew haha and really enjoys toes/chasing your feet as you walk. Hope all is well, have a great new year! ~ Jessica" (later) " . . . my roomate Ang absolutely loves Nala and she's a big hit when we go for walks. She's definitely more of a people person than a dog person but she's made a few friends with a couple other shih tzu's and some other small dogs. She's getting bigger and stronger by the day and on Monday she went up 3 stairs. This morning she went up the front steps to get into our building (I had been walking her up the handicapp ramp before) which was a big step for her, I think they were intimidating to her before. She'll walk down one step (like the curb) but no more. I think it'll be some time before she can walk down them lol she just barks if I walk halfway down and call her to come with me. Talk to you soon, Jessica"
Techie becomes Copper
Joseph, on the right, is now the very happy owner of Copper. "Hello MaryAnn, Just wanted to let you know that our little puppy "Copper" is doing well. He is so smart and Joseph is having an easy time of potty training him. He is adjusting very well and is so calm! Thank you so much for helping us be able to have him:) His official name on his papers will be: Hearthside's Copper Delight" Psalm 37:4 is why Joseph chose "delight" on the end...God has given him his heart's desire:) We'd love to stop by again sometime to visit...the girls said they could learn so much from you, and if you need help with the dogs etc. we could always try to have some extra kids come with me for lessons to help, while I do errands. Take care and have a good weekend! Audrey" |
