Mariposa Angel of Hearthside known here as Posey.

Mariposa is spanish for butterfly, so she has lots of butterflies decorating her pictures.

We purchased Posey as a puppy. This
little girl just took my heart from day one.  Look at that sweet face.  She began life at Dorothy Hansen's in Marshfield, MO ~ about an hour away.

She has some super great champion bloodlines and isshowing herself to

be such a nice calm mama. She

loves her babies, but still has more

in life than smothering them constantly.  Posey is just a natural.
She tends to all of her babies, and takes time for Posey too.

Hadassah Brooke of Hearthside

"Haddy"

We purchased Hadassah Brooke, as a baby from Patricia Rockstroh in Wisconsin.  Haddy's dad is a Canadian Champion, Sebastian Sum Tin T' Talk About.

She has been a doll baby from day one. Hadassah is Hebrew for Esther, sometimes translated as Queen, because of Queen Esther.

As you can see, she is such a pretty sable and white girl.  She has a wonderful, sweet temperament, and not long ago, I had to stop to get something fixed on the car.  We had Haddy with us, we had gone for a

walk at the park.  The people at the car garage were

so impressed with Haddy.  Not only is she a totally striking girl to look at, but very well behaved too.

Now here is our sweet little Samantha Rose. We bought her also as a puppy from Joy Cook in Saint Louis who has Kismet Kennels.

My brother Sam and his wife Rose were here visiting

at the time, so she got her name from them :0)

Samantha has very perfect features and is smaller than the standard. She has grown to be about 16 pounds.

Our 'Lexi' had another life before becoming a Hearthside girl.  She also used to live with Rhonda in Ohio.

Lexi's official name is:
D&R's Tri To Be A Warrior Princess for Daniel Musgrave, and
R for Rhonda :0)

She is a super pretty girl laying here, but you should see how she glides when she walks - so nice and smooth.  A very elegant young lady.

This is our Riegelz Ryanna Jayne of Hearthside.  Yes, you guessed it, she also got her start at Rhonda's in Ohio.  Ryanna was born Sept. 6, 06.  Her mama is Lacy, the girl at the top of the page.  Our Jed is her Uncle Jed.  Ryanna's dad is a champion, named Bobby, who lives at Rhonda's house also.  He is a solid chocolate, but carries the parti colors.  Bobby's registered name is: CH CK'S-N-Gemstonz Semi-Sweetlie.  Rye Rye, as we often call her, is a very sweet girl and lots of fun.

Introducing our own homegrown girl.  Una is one of Posey's girls.  Her official name is: Hearthside's Una Joveeta.  Una means little lamb.

Una's dad is a champion buff boy, who lives in Marshfield, MO with Lisa Harrison.  His call name is Streaker, but on the paper's he is: CH Clover Sunshine N Wind.

Una's birthday is October 6, 2006.  She and Ryanna are best friends, they have grown up together, and love romping and playing with each other.

Una is very much like her mother Posey, but truly has a lot better coat, (more hair).

Riegelz Violet Brigetta of Hearthside

Violet is how we got to be such good friends with Rhonda Musgrave in Ohio.  I was looking for a black, white and tan girl, and Violet was the one for us.

Rhonda and I visited on the phone then, and have been good friends ever since.  She has been a big help to us  here, rather like a mentor.

Violet's mom is Madison, shown above.  Her father is Bobby, the same dad as Ryanna has.  So she is champion sired also.

Violet is a very sweet girl.

Her b/day is April 13, 2006.

Yolanda is another home grown family girl, and that is very easy to spot.  They are a bit more spoiled, and expect you to notice them all the time.  :~)

Yolanda's dad is our Jed, with lots of great champion titles in the pedigree.  Her mama is Ellie Mae who is no longer here with us.  After getting so many black, white and tans from Rhonda, we

found a good home for Miss Ellie Mae.

We often call Yolanda, YoYo - very affectionately I might add.

Her registered name is:

Hearthside's Yolanda Marguerite.   The Nadine you see in one of the pictures was an in between name, but didn't stay with her.

Yolanda's b/day is June 23rd.

This is Juliette.

She is super sweet, and is very pretty with big soft brown eyes.  She already had a summer cut when we got her, but she is growing out nicely and you can see what a nice coat she has.

Juliette comes to us from Margaret Seeman (Namees)

in Minnesota.  She has a great pedigree, and more than

that, she is just a perfect and wonderful Cocker Spaniel.

Polly Put the Kettle On of Hearthside

This is our newest girl here.  She is so very fun and

loving.  Polly is a nice solid red color.  I have groomed

her again since this picture, and her coat is coming in

very nicely.  She has gorgeous nice long ears, the sweetest big eyes, and the temperament we love to pass on to all of our puppies.

It will be a long time before Polly becomes a mama,

but when that time comes, her puppies will be gorgeous.  We plan on Polly and Thaddaeus getting

together.  Thad also has some red in his background.  Their features will go nicely together.

'Willow' came to live to us from Linda Henderson in the Saint Louis area.  Linda came here to visit, and asked us to keep this sweet girl for her. (Long story, short.) Willow is a delight to have around.  She loves to be groomed, and even better does not splash me when I give her a bath.  :0)  She gets along great with all the gang here, and fit right in from the beginning.

Here she is, I am finally taking her pictures for the site, and she has already been here for 6-7 months.

Willow is champion sired:

"CH Powder Puff's Traveling Man"

Her real name is: "Powder Puff and Fair Play's No Fear"
